Isshiki Ootsutsuki 大筒木イッシキ
Boruto-ボルト-Naruto Next Generations

Isshiki Ootsutsuki is a character from the popular Manga/Anime series Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. He is one of the main antagonists of the series and is the leader of the Kara organisation. His appearence is the humanoid aliens hosts body “Jigen” as which the character was introduced in the series in chapter 15 of the Manga. Isshiki is arrogant, pragmatic and remorseless. He enjoys wine a lot.
The costume was made for a graduation project and constructed in under a week. The robe, belt, accessoires, bald cap and wig are all selfmade. The Makeup without Karma markings takes around 1 hour to complete.

Kawaki カワキ
Boruto-ボルト-Naruto Next Generations

Kawaki is a child raised by Kara as the future vessel of Isshiki Ootsutsukis as his current host body is not able to contain his power. He escapes Kara and is taken in by Naruto Uzumaki who raises him as his own. He acts as the rival to Boruto Uzumaki with whom he shares a brotherly bond. His true role in the storyline has yet to be revealed.
The Vest for this costume was made in 2 days. Pants, shirt, belt and shoes are old repurposed clothes. The black top wig is selfmade and for the blonde undercut I used my own short hair.

Demon Merchant Vulgrim
Darksiders Game Series

Vulgrim is a demon merchant with great knowledge about the mortal realm serving indipendently during the Apocalypse. He sells wares of great value and accepts souls as currency. He is quite talkative, has a sarcastic sense of humor and is somewhat devious. Despite this, Vulgrim seems to be fair and honors his end of the bargain, as a merchant should.
Since I first played Darksiders I always played with the thought of cosplaying Vulgrim. It seemed like a nice challenge which would stay a dream forever. Naturally, it felt like a dream when THQ approached us and asked us if we are interested in bringing their character to life.

Gogeta ゴジータ
DRAGON BALL ドラゴンボル

Gogeta is the resulting Fusion of the two main characters Goku and Vegeta from the popular series Dragon Ball by Akira Toriyama. He is considered one of strongest, if not the strongest character in the entire Dragon Ball Universe. As a fusion of Vegeta and Goku, he retains Goku’s tall physique and Vegta’s stern facial features.
I choose this costume right after I started to get into Dragon Ball. I had an extra month of free time, so I choose a challengin project. The whole costume took 2 weeks to finish. The muscle suit involved 2 full days of hand sewing the seperate muscles.

Kakashi Hatakeはたけカカシ
NARUTO -ナルト-

Kakashi Hatake is a famous Shinobi from Konohagakure and known as Sharingan no Kakashi. He is one of Konohas most talented Ninja and the leader of Team 7 during Narutos teenage years. After the 4th Shinobi War he becomes the Sixth Hokage of Konohagakure and is currently in retirement.
Making the costume until it was at this point took almost a year. A lot changes in the meantime. The head and hand plates are now resincastes. The shoes are made with pleather and the new Vest model has working pouches!

Obito Uchiha うちはオビト
NARUTO -ナルト-

Obito was a member of Konohagakures Uchiha Clan who was believed to have died during the 3rd Shinobi War. In truth he was saved and trained by Madara Uchiha. The events of the war left Obito disillusioned with reality and he inherited Madaras plans after he passed away.
This outfit is kind of a classic Uchiha garment and I made it so it can be worn for differnt characters. To create the ripped arm look, the sleeve will be folded inwards and covered with some ripped fabric.

Serra Angel
Magic:The GATHERING

Flying
The angel remembers her past lives like dreams. Her song held up meadows. Her blade drove back darkness. Her wings carried her across the ages.
This project is quite different from all my other projectss since it us just a small illustration from a card game. I always wanted to build wings and this costume was my first attempt in doing so. It was also my first full foam project. Back then I didn’t use a rotary tool and glues most of it with duct tape. I learned a lot from this project!

There may exist powers even greater than Phyrexia.
Sunblast Angel is my follow up of the Serra Angel. I crafted a few things with foam and wanted to test my abilities on a new and big project!

Thor Odinson
Avengers - Infinity War

Thor is the Asgardian God of Thunder, the former king of Asgard and New Asgard. When his irresponsible behavior reignited a conflict between worlds, he was denied the right to become king, stripped of his power and was banished to Earth by Odin. Due to a selfless act of sacrifice, Thor redeemed himself in his fathers eyes and was granted his power once more. Thor later joined the Avengers and stood with them to stop the acts of his brother Loki.
When I watched Infinity War in the cinema, Thors epic entry convinced me to make a full cosplay of him. However, at that time there were only a few Screenshots and a Hot Toys Figurine as a reference. Most of the costume is modeled by memory and those few references.

Madara Uchihaうちはマダラ

Madara was the legendary leader of the Uchiha Clan. He was one the of the founding fathers of Konohagakure, alongside his childhood friend and rival Hashirama Senju. Later on, they fought for the control of the village, which resultet in Madaras death. However, he didn’t die and went into hiding to work on his own plans and later started to corrupt Obito Uchiha for his own resurrection.
I always wanted to make a more classic looking samurai armor with more details. So I created this design of Madara. I spent some time thinking about what engravings makes sense for his name and character.

Zoraprincess Mipha
The legend of Zelda - Breath of the wild

Mipha is the princess of the Zora, a friend of Link and one of the four Champions. She is introverted and has a gift of healing. Mipha was in love with Link and made him a Zora Armor before her death during the Great Calamity. Mipha was a skilled spearwoman and owned a sacred weapon of the Zora: The Lightscale Trident.
After Breath of the Wild was finally announced with a release date, I started to work on this costume. It took me a year to finish it because I lost motivation to cosplay her inbetween. I’m glad I concrunched her for Gamescom 2017
